Manufacturer: JH
Features:
- - Energy efficient, automatically varies its power output in response to pipe temperature changes
- - Easy to install, can be cut to any length (up to max circuit length) required on site with no wasted cable
- - Lower installed cost than steam tracing, less maintenace expense and less downtime
- - No overheat or bumout even when wrapped over itself (overlapped)
- - Suitable for use in non-hazardous, hazadous and corrosive environments
- - JH power connection, splice, tee and end seat kit will reduct installation time
Description:
HTR increasing or decreasing the heat out put in a self regulating way depending on the change of the ambient temperature, so a thermostat may not necessary in some applicaitons and it will never overheat or burnout even when wrapped over itself (overlapped). With optional outerjacket, the heating cable is resistant to watery and inorganic chemicals and protect against abrasion and impacted amage. HTR is suitable for use inexplosion-haz-ardous areas up to a maximally admissible work-piece temperature of + 65 Celsius Degrees. JH provide termation, power connection, splice, tee and end seal kit will reduce installation time and require no special skills or tools.
Applications:
HTR is UL listed self-reglating paralle heating cable (heating tape) is designed for a variety of industrial applications and environments, including hazardous and non-hazardous. It can be used for plastic or mental pipe freeze protection and flow maintenance of pipes, tanks and valves.
Sub-category:
- - HTR ... C : Tinned copper braid provide additional mechanical protection and a positive ground path
- - HTR ... CR : Flame retardant thermoplastic overjacket protect against certain inorganic chemical solutions, it also protect against abrasion and impact damage
